2023 Garden Calendar
The full season is 44 days, starting in mid-April and running through mid-October. Co-op Community Gardeners will work together one weekend day each week, and work a flexible weekday, to allow for varied schedules. By working together on Sundays we’ll have a general understanding of what we are working on each week. An overview month-by-month schedule will be posted in the shed. For the spring we have agreed to meet at 12 pm on Sundays. Some gardeners are starting March 5th.
Mary K will be there most Thursday evenings at 6pm - except for Treefort Thursday 3/23/23.
The Understanding Organic discussions have begun! These function to introduce participants to the principles at work in this garden. Simultaneously, people bring their own understandings, skills, and interests to the discussions. All weekly topics are available for review and consideration for the gardeners who start in April, and garden volunteers.

What are we doing at the garden month by month?
This is a detailed draft started in December 22. Due Mary K getting sick a couple of times over the winter some of the work listed in December - February didn’t get done and carries over to the spring.
All outreach efforts to stakeholders was conducted November - February. Plans from March onward reflect activities based on the number of committed community gardeners and volunteers.
How much area will we put into food production and cover crops?
This is a plan based on the number of people involved and how much estimated time/effort is involved in coordination. It can vary based on the commitment level and ambition of the gardeners committed to the full 44-day season. This is a January draft. It will be updated again during Spring Break to reflect who has committed to the season!
